Our Toddler program is designed to ease children into their first “school” experience, as they are starting to learn independence. The program includes daily circle times, craft activities, outdoor play, cognitive play, language learning, sensory activities and dramatic play and social skill building opportunities. The Toddler program focuses on the whole child, offering opportunities for children to engage with and explore the world outside their “home” environment.

Our Toddler program focuses on a positive first “school” experience, as they are starting to learn independence. A key emphasis is placed on developing communication skills by labelling objects throughout the program, encouraging expressive language through songs and stories, growing vocabularies, and eventually speaking in short sentences. Additionally, we focus on familiarity with routines and transitions as a tool for fostering a sense of safety and security outside the home. Our last key area of focus is the development of socialization and play skills. Building experiences through group activities, learning about key skills like turn taking, sharing and co-operation collectively equip our early learners with important foundational skills for their future years in school.
